This sugar bowl is one of the first designs in the large and successful family of objects designed for Alessi by American architect and designer Michael Graves. Graves applied a very personal visual code to the sugar bowl, blending influences ranging from Art Deco to Pop Art and even the language of cartoons. Thanks to his extraordinary design approach, the objects in this family have become internationally recognized icons of 1980s and 1990s design.
