Eclisse Lamp - Red

The Eclisse table lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965 for Artemide, is one of the most iconic products of Italian industrial design. Its originality and functionality have made it a key piece of contemporary design, featured in several permanent collections of prestigious museums such as the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and MoMA in New York. It was also awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1967, in recognition of its innovative design.

Eclisse is characterized by its ability to adjust light intensity using a movable internal shade that rotates, allowing the light source to be darkened. This feature is not only conceptual but also practical, offering direct or diffused light as desired. The lamp, made of painted metal, is still produced by Artemide and stands out for its harmonious aesthetic and impact on the field of lighting.
