Falkland Lamp 165

Designed in 1964 by Bruno Munari for Danese, the Falkland 165 pendant lamp is a brilliant example of formal experimentation and functionality. Munari, one of the most influential figures of Italian modernism and futurism, created this piece with an innovative approach that transforms simple materials into a dynamic and enveloping structure.

Its design is based on a series of aluminum rings of varying diameters, suspended within an elastic textile mesh that shapes them as they extend, generating an undulating, organic volume. The combination of these elements creates a lamp that appears to float in space, projecting a warm, diffuse light ideal for hallways, living rooms, or any setting seeking a touch of minimalist elegance.
