First Chair - White

The First chair is a design by Stefano Giovannoni for the design brand Magis. It is a stackable chair, with fluid and elegant lines, and intense colors. It is made of fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene in air molding, and is suitable for outdoor use.

Following the Air-Chair, the first chair to use the air-molding process, the First chair marks a new pioneering step in this technology (hence the chair's name): the hollowing of the frame is not only applied to volumes with a small tubular cross-section, but also to large and complex volumes such as the seat and backrest. This allows for a more three-dimensional, organic shape, without the visible tubular structures found in the other chairs.
