Born in 1970 from the minds of Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini, and described by Domus as "a serpent of infinite light," this lamp immediately entered the history of Italian and world design.

Its translucent, flexible PVC structure, reinforced with resin terminals, makes it virtually indestructible. The various elements can be connected in series, up to a maximum of four, and can be rolled up at will. They emit a diffused light, and their timeless design makes them a classic, suitable for any setting. Thanks to its unique flexibility, it can be placed on the floor or on a table, hung, or rolled up to create new light effects every day.
Produced from 1970 to 1983 and slightly modified in 1999, it has now been redesigned, replacing the classic bulbs with high-efficiency LEDs. Boalum is part of numerous design museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in Philadelphia and the Museum of Italian Design in Milan.

20W 780LM 2700K CRI90 LED. 200cm long. "An endless snake of light." Up to 4 pieces can be connected in series and coiled as desired.
