Eclisse Lamp - Yellow

Designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1967, Eclisse is an iconic table lamp that combines pure surfaces, rounded shapes, and the optimistic spirit of the 1960s. Its distinctive feature lies in its ingenious mechanical system: a rotating internal shade that allows the direction and intensity of the light to be regulated. When fully closed, it creates a halo effect reminiscent of an eclipse—hence its name.
Awarded the Compasso d'Oro that same year, Eclisse anticipated the formal language of futuristic design of the 1970s. Made of painted steel, it can be used on a nightstand, a desk, or wall-mounted.
