Tre Pezzi Armchair - Plum/Red

In 1959, Franco Albini, together with his longtime collaborator Franca Helg, designed Tre Pezzi, a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic bergère armchair.

The chair is composed of a deep, curved seat, a circular backrest, and a crescent-shaped headrest, each of these geometric shapes standing out independently. Spacious and inviting, the upholstered sections combine clean lines with absolute comfort.

The tubular metal frame is inspired by scaffolding, while the lateral curvature of the armrests evokes the handrails of the Milan metro, also designed by Albini and Helg. The result is a contemporary armchair of great visual impact, reinterpreted by Cassina with the utmost respect for the original design.
