Corkscrew ES17 - Yellow, red and black

To celebrate its centenary, Alessi presented the Values Collection, a special series that brings together previously unreleased pieces and reissues of iconic designs that reflect the brand's core values. Among them is the ES17 corkscrew, a creation by Ettore Sottsass that fuses functionality and formal experimentation.

Originally designed in the 1990s, the ES17 is a utilitarian object with a strong sculptural identity. Its turned wooden structure revives the Italian artisan tradition, while its dynamic shapes and vibrant colors express Sottsass's signature playful and sophisticated approach. Reinterpreted in new color combinations within the Values Collection, this corkscrew embodies the essence of Alessi: a balance between innovation, design, and expertise.
