More than 50 years after its creation, Sacco continues to represent a revolutionary project: it has neither legs nor a seat nor a backrest, but a seat formed by sitting on it. Sacco introduces a unique typology, breaking with traditional patterns and codes: in line with the values that marked the era in which it was conceived, that 1968 of great ideological movements, it symbolized the achievement of a free stance, the overcoming of a rigid position imposed by social conventions. Selected for the Compasso d'Oro in 1970, it was exhibited at MoMA in New York in 1972 on the occasion of the legendary exhibition "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" and included in the collections of numerous museums around the world.
