Zig-Zag Chair - Cherry

American cherry wood chair with a natural finish, designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1934 and quickly considered a design icon. The Zig Zag chair is one of the earliest examples of a solid wood cantilever chair, formed from four flat pieces of wood joined in a rhythmic sequence to create an extremely sophisticated appearance of instability.
