Inspired by the creative chaos of working from home, Note Design Studio decided to create a storage unit that could house their collection of books, magazines, drawings, and objects. The result was a stylish trolley with a distinctive V-shaped design integrated into its surface, allowing for simple stacked books to be stored and displayed. Designed to serve such a scholarly purpose, it was only natural that its name would reflect its functionality: Alima, an Arabic name, means "wise" or "scholar."
Made from bent and welded chrome-plated tubing, with a carefully woven leather cord around the handle, and a lacquered oak tray. Designed by Note Design Studio in 2022.
